Stream
Hopefully it's a blessing of rain to fill the farmers reservoirs and the lake. Maybe even long steady stream flow for fishing and of course rain for kids to play in Ah heck throw some good lightening, squall fronts to watch go by and nice looking breaks in the clouds for sun to pour through

Floradude
The U.S. National Hurricane Center said Roslyn’s maximum sustained winds had increased to 120 mph (195 kph) early Saturday, and it was expected to grow still further. The storm was centered about 200 miles (320 kilometers) south-southwest of Cabo Corrientes — the point of land jutting into the Pacific south of Puerto Vallarta — and moving northwest at 7 mph (11 kph). The forecast called for Roslyn to begin shifting to a northward movement and then northeast, putting it on path that could take it close to Cabo Corrientes and the Puerto Vallarta region on Saturday night or early Sunday before making landfall in Nayarit state on Sunday morning.
Go Solar
Reports indicate the coastal areas around Tepic were the point of landfall; contacts in the area just shared this good "after action report" and images: "Things have calmed down, a few palapas were sacrificed to the ocean...but all things considered it wasn't what we feared".

Looks like it got wet and the debris on the cobblestone did a good job of filling in any of the low areas If the plastic on the thatch roof went on before the winds arrived they did pretty good storm winds wise. I don't like the winds and rains that drive the water through the windows. Was that waves that bent the chain link fencing back or was it like that from a previous storm? Unless, of course, the 2 people who died in Nayarit and their families don't count........a woman buried under her house which collapsed due to strong winds and rain, and an 80 year old man under a collapsed cement wall. 1
Go Solar
@Natasha The news about the 2 people who tragically lost their lives hadn't yet been published, or at least was not widely known, when the other info was shared. The key point from our contacts was that their expectations from a direct hit from a CAT 4 storm were going to be far, far worse than what they were (relatively) relieved to be seeing after the storm had just passed.
