Natasha
Not clear on your question. Are you renting it out or simply having concierge fees for various services related to monthly maintenance?
skshapiro123
Sorry....We are renting it out for minimum 3-month periods of time...We plan to come down several times a year for maybe a month or two....

You must still pay the taxes on the income generated for those 3 month periods that it is rented.
skshapiro123
I knew that....Im trying to get an idea of property management fees.....It seems theres a 'base' fee every month and then a percent commission from the rent...What would a typical property management monthly fee be? Natasha
you really need to talk to two or more each is different part of fees would be based on what services they provide some are scant others the whole nine yards sending p..m. with one I KNOW is honest and capable and covers every base immaginable
court0503
Agree it’s hard to answer your question because each agency has its own fee vs service schedule …and we don’t know what specific services you’d be looking for. Fees can vary quite a bit so best to speak with agency principals directly, shop around and request actual copies of their contracts to review. Also reliability and quality vary from excellent to fly-by-night to downright dishonest so important to get first hand recommendations from long- standing clients.
lakeside7
Wow I didn't realise it was such a different question..Is there no-one out there that uses a rent a manager?
ajijicbound
I stated I paid 10-15% of the rent asked.
Kiko
Get several references. A few property managers are known to be very clever with editing repair invoices. A bonus in their pocket from your pocket.
