Night rains don't count unless they wake you up from being real hard and loud rains  Lots of areas feed water into the lake. It appears the lake level is doing better than the last couple of year. Everybody needs water. https://www.ceajalisco.gob.mx/contenido/chapala/chapala/comportamiento.html

Thanks, John. 32.54 inches is surprising, a fairly normal year with more to come. It has seemed to me we`ve had much less.

Actually, it's much more than average. You cannot simply compare this year's number to the other years' or the average on the chart ('https://ajijicweather.com/wxrainhistory.php'). This year's number is only 'up to today'. If you want to see the ''YTD' comparison, go to the home page of the ajijicweather.com. It says 9.66 inches more this year. It's a lot in my opinion.
