Who has blight resistant Mexican lime trees?

Recommended Posts

I don't know where ours came from but it's at least 18 years old. we trim it properly, cut off infected branches and spray Dawn soap water on it from time to time and have had the pleasure of many crops to the point where we give some away. Just get one and care for it. Ours is in the middle of our courtyard so getting sun is no problem.

Hey MC, if you are talking about the leaf mold "blight" it is hard to find one that won't get it.  A diluted bleach/dish soap solution sprayed on the leaves will control it.  Spay as soon as you see any black spots.  The leaves will still show black spots but the mold will be dead.  That also will kill aphids.

Mine aren't blight resisent. To combat the blight I sprayed mine witn a mixure of water, neem oil, and dishwashing soap. And then rubbed the wet leaves clean of blight by hand.
