elevator
I live in Brisas de Chapala. It has rained twice in the past five days. Neither was heavy. I know some folks have been getting more, but I've been here almost eight years and this is the dryest June yet.
Floradude
Tropical Storm Celia is close enough to our coast to give us some? Hence the clouds.
Mainecoons
Mainly though these tropical storms are interfering with the normal rainy season pattern and suppressing rain here while putting more at lower elevations near the coast.
adolphsj
Around here location results vary a lot. ajijicweather.com station in Rancho de Oro reports 5.86 inches this June with total avg for entire month of June 6.01 inches. Note that predictive sources suggest very little coming next 2-3 days, however.

Mainecoons
Well, we've made the June average and still coming down hard. Off to a good start, hoping for a strong lake rise year. Lake starting to rise!

He replied that its because Guadalajara has much more churches. 😊

We're in Riberas and have had so much rain all the previous brown patches in the lawn have disappeared, and the garden is growing like crazy. Maybe it is like Honeybee said - because we have so many churches nearby. 😁
Mainecoons
It must be spottier this year, here in SE Ajijic we have had plenty of rain with only one week of interruption. Raining as I type this.
