Jalisco Mexican WIlls

Putting here and not Mexico General because state of Jalisco may vary from others.  A friend needs to know if Mexican Wills, at the time of being completed/formalized  at a Notario, are also  filed in any  sort of Public Record, Court, etc. 

Specifically in this case, would be in Guadalajara. Thank you for any directions you can offer.

Thanks. Found it out  myself. For anyone who needs to know a  sealed copy if filed at Achivo de Instrumentos Públicos in Guad, and to access for any reason a valid Death Certificate of the Testator is required.

Yes, they are filed for public record according to my notary.

Since the notarios represent the State it makes sense that what they do is registered somewhere in the State.
