Hospital San Antonio is the worst ever hospital I came across till now. I doubt if the doctors there have genuine or fake degrees. My brother in law was admitted cause he had a stone pain. I literally heard the senior doctor asking the junior doctor who was examining my brother " will you pass and clear your exams this time in Spanish". I speak enough Spanish because I am married to a Mexican. Then they thought I was a dumb Gringo so they tried to charge our family for services and exams that they never did. Fortunately my wife resolved this in Spanish.

I was dumbstruck by this. The moment they realize the person is insured they'll make a huge bill and will charge you like anything. No professionalism at all. Cleaners smoking in patient's washroom. Lazy and slow.  Doctors literally don't have any knowledge playing with people's life . I would never suggest this hospital to anyone.

The very qualified doctors of Quality Care use the Hospital San Antonio next door for many of their procedures. I would recommend using them rather than the doctors on the hospital staff.

I had to spend one night in that hospital, but found the staff to be very attentive.  Since I have no health insurance (couldn't qualify) I paid out of pocket.  Didn't consider it unreasonable.

...just another experience.

The San Antonio hospital has a way of charging with cards, but they tell their employees not to use them so that the doctors receive cash. An employee there told me that they get paid a commission if they take cash. Doctors like González Urzua have a terminal in their office and of course prefer that you pay cash. Even that the doctors tell him that they will earn more money if they charge in cash.

analopez and saracastro7655,who hired you to come on this web board  solely to write BS about and outright libel a very excellent small hospital. You're lucky that it is no longer a criminal offense, where you would have received jail time for your crap.

Is it libel if it's true??? Considering the latest (last) experience we had there, hmmmmm....

Out of genuine curiosity, isn't what you just wrote also libel?

Don’t go to Hospital San Antonio. Be careful if you go to the emergency room, they refer you to the internist doctor all the time.

And if you want to change the literal hospital they kidnap you.

LIAR! One post and similar but even worse libel than the other 2 dipsticks.

Another un-backed up statement!  What, exactly, happened?

I had three broken fingers and since my QC orthopedist wasn't there that day and this required "right now" treatment, I went to the SAT emergency doc and was treated promptly.  I also had to spend a night there with other problems, also okay.

Expensive....yes.

I believe these 3 libel spreading posters [only one post each and new members] are all the same person and highly unlikely Mexican as per their fake names. This thread helps nobody and might be detrimental to property sales by the owner of this board. Moderators?

guiness and yoyo1-too funny! why do you think that Quality  moved their offices next to HSAT? Could it be because they use the facility a lot.-SNORK!

No - they moved because their old landlord would not fix or maintain anything. Open water leaks, leaking toilets, weird electrical errors. Dr. Hector was under a lot of pressure, because so many specialists rely on his office refererals. As a point of fact, many of the specialists refer work to Guadalajara, to raidiologists and others they have known. For example, my vision and balance specialist wants a CT scan, to make sure I don't have any mastoids or other growths effecting my balance. I would normally go to Banuelo's, but he said no, go to this one, a world recognised authority on head wounds, scans, disease and such. He is Guadalajara of course, only rookies and junior league players out here. I pray the talented ones like Ana Gabriel and Dr. Hector stay, and love Lakeside life, limited as it is.
