3day weekend HEAVY TRAFFIC

I tried going  to Yves and then Fonda Don~a Lola today, Monday, for lunch.  Traffic was very heavy trying to get there and once at Yves, there were no tables available. So I turned around and started heading East on the Carretera thinking I could stop at Don~a Lolas.  There were simply no available parking places. I don't ever remember it being this crowed before.

So I drove home and not having any TV dinners,  had to have a lunch of whole wheat bread, butter, peanut butter and sugar free strawberry jam, with a banana on the side.

You're right. I do not know how to cook, let alone prepare a meal :)

Oh well. The weekenders will all be gone Tuesday and I will again be able to go out for my meals.

It's not only heavy traffic on the roads. Last night, NONE of the 3 internet services I currently have were working up to par. I checked speeds of all of them and I tried three different browsers. Crappy service on all of them regardless of the so called "speed tests". I ended up playing cribbage.

Pete, forget the jam, a peanut butter and banana sandwich with toasted bread is one of my favourites.

We drove by Yves at lunchtime and saw the crowded parking  situation, so we went West past the large gas station and soon you will find a little strip mall on the lake side with El Ancla restaurant as the first one on the left. Parked easily and had an excellent lunch. It's been one of our "go to" favorites for a long time.  Never crowded at lunch.  Indoor and outdoor seating.  Pleasant and helpful staff.
