Need key with a chip for a car

Is there any other place besides Aragon in Chapala that makes these keys? They need the car to be close and there is nearly zero parking on that street. I had to park nearly to Parque Crisitiana and walk back to the shop, then was told they need the car. T.I.A.

I agree with the parking issue. Sometimes I have seen a car parked in their garage space and having work done. Incidentally I find the North South streets having more spaces to park..it's a scrap shoot.. I am th e only person who wishes the city would have metered parking again

When they did my car, it sat double parked on the street. Just don't have your doors open.

p.s. They also have the remote openers. Both the openers and the chipped key cost 1,500 pesos EACH. I was going for both but think I'll just get the key.

It is possible to make the turn and get a car in the parking area at the store. You have to make a 3 or 5 point turn because there isn't enough room to turn in directly. I got a Ford Explorer in the parking space when I needed a new fob.

LOL! So what you're saying is that you should get the key or fob BEFORE you have any body work done?

We can only get a replacement key with chip with our key code from the dealership. Good luck.

If memory serves, the key kiosk by El Torito's got me a 2nd chipped key when I bought my car (only came with 1). You could ask, anyway. Never needed to have the car nearby, but I don't know where they actually got the thing (7 years ago now).
