World's #1 polluter has more coal fired plants under construction than currently exist in the entire U.S. Responsible alone for more than half the ocean pollution on the planet. Do you think they are taxing themselves silly and damaging their economy to save the climate? I think they are laughing their heads off at us while they show up at these world meetings and mutter platitudes and watch the western world pretend it can solve this problem with windmills, electric cars, taxes and regulations and carbon credits. I'll tell you what we've been doing, regulating and taxing away our own capacity to manufacture while buying a bunch of mostly ill made junk from the world's dirtiest country instead of one of the cleanest. Heck, Mexico is even cleaner than China. Ironically, we could probably do more for global pollution and climate just by not banning their junk and telling companies to return to North and Central America or shut down. Not referred to as global warming because ignorant people don't understand that doesn't mean the planet is just getting steadily hotter everywhere, as you just proved. It's a process that can make it hotter in some places and colder in others, but yes, the planet is in general warming.
