Ian Greenwood
Just below our house in Ajijic is What can at best be called an “ urban farm “ A large piece of vacant land populated by goats horses and chickens etc. etc. Over the weekend the mare passed away… Unfortunately she has a 2 to 3 month old foal . It does appear that it is eating some grass however it still needs milk. I have done the research and I am not looking for opinions or alternatives just a source of fresh goats milk…..obviously I am willing to pay and will pick up ASAP…"thank you.
Bisbee Gal
Try this goat farm near Mezcala?? I would also recommend you talk to the horse people in La Floresta. They always have foals, may be able to help you. http://goat-farm-tour.galodeallende.com/
rafterbr
I know of many foals raised by goats. It's easier to buy a goat with milk and let the foal nurse it. It does not take long for both to get use to idea. I knew one race horse who refused to travel anywhere unless mother goat was with it.
