cedros
I bought some Manchego cheese at Costco. They are called "quesos espadoles" Does anyone know what the latter word is?
Cronopio
Possibly a typo -- manchego is one of the quesos espanoles.
cedros
That could be-a d instead of a n but that is what it says on the package.
Mostlylost
It is a typo. The designation queso manchego is protected under Spain's denominación de origen regulatory classification system, and the cheese has been granted Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status by the European Union. Jim Bowie
Looks like a possible cheese "knockoff" or counterfeit cheese. Looks very similar, but it might not be the real thingy ! I doubt the real one would have a "typo".
