Mostlylost
With any paint company ie; Comex, Berel, Sherwin Williams, Behr, etc. the quality of the paint you choose will vary depending on the price you pay. All of them offer different levels of quality with different guarantees for different prices
dichosalocura
Locally we like the quality of casther paint. Sherwin Williams is probably the best followed by Casther in my oppinion. Just don't go with Comex their paint fades terribly in the sun and is the worst.
Ferret
And if you buy the really good quality paint, make absolutely certain that the person applying it does NOT dilute it with water. My favourite paint is Sayer and I buy from the little store just east of the Pemex in Riberas del Pilar. It is called Maxima and is a 100% acrylic paint for interiors and exteriors with excellent coverage and is 100% washable with a 15 year guarantee. He also has a very extensive colour chart if you ask him for more choices. Six years later, both my interior and exterior paint are still going strong. 1

daisy2013
Never had any issues with Comex. Some painters want to dilute the paint, don't let them and your paint will last for years wether inside your home or outside.
Mainecoons
Had good results with the 10 year Berel from Home Depot. Definitely do not allow them to dilute it and make sure it is mixed well.
happyjillin
I use Comex latex paint for everything except on metal. The store on Madero in Chapala is where I go. My contractor uses Latex on walls and I use flat latex on the folk art furniture that I build.

Ferret
Definitely at the Sayer store as described in my above post. BTW, the young man only speaks Spanish.
Mainecoons
The Sayer store has epoxy metal paint. Not cheap but very good.
