Crossing the Border

Are there any issues driving across the border in to Mexico, specifically crossing from Texas..?

Crossed in November from Texas to Matamoros; we have Jalisco plates; pulled up to the red light and a few seconds later it turned green and the gate arm lifted. Never saw anyone.

I will be crossing back into Mexico again in a few weeks.

we have crossed 27 times in the past 6 years.  Never a problem coming into mexico.  Always have dogs.  Many times no one even manning the bridge. Most of the time dont even ask to see passports.

Last time we entered was Dec 15

If you have found a bridge that no one mans and doesn't ask for passports, I think you better tell us all where this magical place is, please.

I believe Shag means on the Mexico side there is no one manning the crossing.  Going INTO the States you always have to show your passport.  Entering Mexico, no showing of passport to US officials and none to Mexican authorities.

No problem in Laredo bridge II ln February. Using Jalisco plated vehicle. Green light.  No passport check at km25 waved through by Migracion.
