mkshawn
It's a few years ago but Mx Customs was opening & removing the CC from its transit card stock!
CHILLIN
I think DHL is the only carrier that will take unsigned financial instruments (newly issued credit cards). Definitely not Fedex. You will have to phone around. Another imagined liability threat.
TelsZ4
I had my visa sent by Fedx a few months ago. Had it delivered to ishop. No problems.. it came in a padded envelope so unless it was xrayed you couldn’t tell what was in there..

Call your bank if they are the ones sending it. Then you get the facts ..

mkshawn
Not once but twice, I had to insist on expiry date change with bank so I shredded the card used my wife till we got back. The Bank advised that there were numerous reports of money laundering with-in CC shipments. I my guessing they are now scanned?
Ferret
Never had a card go missing when using Fedex from Canada. Mailing one goes missing every single time. It's just plain annoying when cards are stolen especially when they require a PIN which the thieves could not possibly find out.
Bisbee Gal
Our last 2 cc's were forwarded by a kind friend to our Sol y Luna Laredo address. No problem. The last one was forwarded in 2020, post-pandemic.
Al Berca
FedEx. 1 to 2 days. Around 1000 pesos. Varies depending on exchange rate.
cedros
Don't use the postal service but use a courier like Fedex or DHL. Have it sent to you at ishop if no one might be home.
ibarra
We receive 2 cards from U.S. Major banks. One uses DHL the other FedEx. 22 years in MX, no problems. We have them delivered to our home and we live where you live, Phil. We had some legal papers sent to us recently at our home and used FedEx. Floradude
Over the years I had Wells Fargo try to send me a new credit card. They never arrived. Since then they mail it to my cousin in the US and she sends it down by one of the major couriers. It costs over $70 USD but it works.
