Susan111
Hi there, I'm trying to find out if a shipment of nasal spray (with a medical ingredient in it Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride) from the US to Mexico would be cleared at customs, either through USPS or a courier. If you have had any experience please let me know,  Thanks so much 🙂
Yo1
It's a decongestant so it should be OK. Here's a place to look. I didn't see it listed as something prohibited. https://mx.usembassy.gov/information-regarding-bringing-medications-into-mexico/ You should be able to find this ingredient listed in some spray here.  Comprar Dristan 12-hr Nasal Spray - .5 fl oz México 12-hour-nasal... El mejor precio en México en Dristan 12-hr Nasal Spray - .5 fl oz de parte de eVitamins.com. ... Active Ingredients: Oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05%.
gogirl
We just had an awful experience trying to get a package here shipped by my son. It had a small box of exercise equipment, some spices and 2 small bottles of Vitamin B-12. Unfortunately DHL in the States didn't put the correct paperwork in and on the box so it was held up in customs. The problem was the vitamins. We asked if they would take out the vitamins but they said no, all or nothing. So we ended up paying taxes on it and shipping back. Plus almost $200.00 USDÂ that my son paid to ship it down. A ridiculous amount of money in total. From now on we will only have something shipped from amazon US, amazon Mx or direct from a company. vetteforron
I wished I had known I could have brought it back. I went to a real Walmart north of Chicago what a difference. So much more stuff super selection and things like zinc and other vitamins about a third of the price. I had a ball shopping.  Passing through customs in Chicago was so fast and simple. Same here in Mexico.
Mostlylost
Medicine, and medical devices require an import permit. If Aduana opens the package they will not take the time to research the ingredients (listed in English). They will deny entry. It does not matter how it is shipped (FedEx, DHL, USPS International etc) So it is a gamble. 8 or 9 out of 10 packages might clear customs inspection. If you order be ready to lose your money. Far better to take the ingredient list to a pharmacy here and see if they have something similar.

CHILLIN
I have suffered so much with the use of OTC decongestants. When working as a sculptor and mason there was already a lot of dust. At first they were a blessing, a good night's sleep. Then they quickly "rebound" and clamp up your sinuses like a vice. See an ENT specialist(Quality Care has a good one), and you may have to buy a CPAP machine. I can point you where to find a company providing quality rebuild units. By the way, I had my Turbonoids removed by a Plastic Surgeon. Helps, but like always complications. This time of year, the beautiful orange African Tulip trees, or allergy trees as I call them. Floradude
DHL, and/or Customs at the border has had my order of Taco Mix tied up for weeks. Meanwhile, Superlake now has Taco Mix back in stock. I  enjoyed tacos last night for dinner. I compared prices. What I paid Amazon for a single package of taco mix plus postage was $4 USD. What I paid for one package from Superlake on Wednesday was about 30 cents less per package.
