luvsdawgs
There is one between here and Joco, don't know exactly where. A Joco resident needed to come to this area for a Dr's appt and had a hard time getting through.

It is by the fish restaurants where the Joco/Chapala municipals border starts/ends...they also had a tow truck parked by...They are from Joco Municipal so not sure if they willĀ recognizeĀ what the Chapala mayor has to comment on the Governors directive

Mainecoons
On SaturdayĀ Chapala had one by that municipal storage shed where the military checkpoint and two huge topes used to be.Ā Joco had one just outside of El Molino on the mountain side where the road narrows from four to two lanes.Ā It took over an hour to get through. ComputerGuy
Which is nowhere near the restaurant curves. That sign is up before you get close to Arileo Restaurant if coming from the east. Actually, also if coming from the west.
Mainecoons
Yes.Ā The checkpoint they are talking about sounds like one being run by Joco municipio inside their boundary.
CHILLIN
Apologies to Monty Python. Mexican road blocks are like the Spanish Inquisition -no one expects the Spanish Inquisition. Ā

El Bizco
Just went thru the checkpoint. It is now 50 meters from the green Joco-Chapala sign on the Chapala side of the border. They are only stopping traffic going towards Ajijic.
