Ferret
I have a T shirt with that printed on it. I wear it when doing any business transaction here. I have another one that states "Money can buy a lot of things... but it doesn't wag its tail when you get home"
mudgirl
Saw a line of kitchen gear (aprons, tea towels, etc) in a store in Canada that said, "Dog hair is both a fashion statement and a condiment" Had them for cat hair, too.

Mainecoons
Our Canadian friend and house sitter refers to it as "WinterPeg."
Ferret
That's what all Canadians call it. You got wind in Chicago? Try the corner of Portage and Main in Winterpeg.

MtnMama
In Colorado we used to say we had 3 seasons - winter, July and August. I have seen it snow in the Denver/Boulder area in June and September. And I have shoveled my last snowflake!

mudgirl
Cute and I know just meant to be funny, but lots of people actually do think it's okay to let little kids take swigs of their beer. Some friends of mine used to do that, and their son, who was only 4 years old at the time, ended up with liver problems. Children's organs can't handle alcohol. There are a few of us on this board originally from Europe where we had beer or wine with dinner on occasion along with the adults, yes as young as 4. You have merely spouted a NOB fallacy. My liver is fine at 79[in june] 2
