CFE Contigo version 3.5 or 3.6.1

Can anyone help me with the CFE Contigo app?  My old version, 3.4, quick working. When I click on its icon a pop up tells me there is a new version.

When I try to download CFE Contigo 3.5 or 3.6.1 from Google Play I'm told that the app is not available in this country.  What the hell?  I'm in Mexico, why can't I download it?  I've tried hiding my location using a VPN either in Mx City or some place in the US is still doesn't work. Can anyone help me out there?

Even if I can't pay CFE  with a US credit card, I can view all 3 of my CFE accounts and print them for paying at OXXO. I never get my CFE bills, they never get delivered.

I did delete the old app CFE Contigo v3.4 and tried to download CFE Contigo 3.5 and 3.6.1. Google Play doesn't even list the CFE Contigo app. If I go to a search on Google for CFE Contigo I get  many listings for CFE Contigo APPs. When I click on them I get the App listing/description but in red I'm told "This item isn't available in your country."

Any suggestions? Maybe I'm going to the wrong place. There are listings for CFE Contigo   APK 3.5 and 3.6.1. When I go there I FEEL ITS A SCAM as they want me to download several other apps that I'm sure aren't good for my phone.

Oh, this might be a problem because my phone is a Huawei P20 Pro android, but it worked fine with CFE Contigo v3.4.    My old phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 and it has Android 5.0.1. I tried to update it but was told it's the latest  one.

  Is this Lolipop, which I believe is required for CFE Contigo v3.5 or 3.6.1???  I'm lost and could really use some help.

I have the latest version of the app on my Android 10.x phone. I don't use it, because the sign in for their Webpage is different than the sign in on the App itself. (This is ridiculous and another example of sheer incompetence: I sign in with a user name on the Web, but they want me to register with an email in the app.) All sites I researched either tell me to go to the Google Play store or, in the case of official CFE sites, have had the link removed. This leads me to believe that the incompetence extends to an inability to provide a working or updated app.

There is no room for half-assery when it comes to Websites on the part of an essential service. Similar problems have plagued TelCel and TelMex many times.

In the app store, no matter which country I sign in from using my VPN, I get the same message as you, even on the Mexican Play store.

Are you using a Mexican carrier for cell service?

If you have the online CFE account check there. Mine last April was on April 11th. I have never used th phone app. You can also access your account balance  on the federal government portal
