utilitus Posted March 23, 2020 Report Share Posted March 23, 2020 Over the last six weeks or so, the Peso has depreciated about 30% against the USD, following the pattern for some other petroleum producing emerging markets, many of whom, like Mexico, have also reduced interest paid on their currencies. But given the financial craziness going on now it probably had little to do with this. If it last very long, all the import stuff in Costco and other places will go up considerable and it never comes back down much if at all as the peso rises.
