ezpz
I was just referred to him for a checkup. I have lots of confusing information, trying to clarify. The # I was given - land phone - did not answer. The clinics associated with him are Lakeside? quality care? Plaza Interlago? Integrity? Which is correct?? I understand he is up on the libramiento but I'm not familiar with that area because I only recently bought a car and never go up that way. Can somebody please clarify for me where he is and what the correct phone # is? Gracias!

Ferret
Dr. Briseno is with Quality Care... opposite Tio Sams on the Libramiento. Once you see the gas station, pull to the right in the parking lot but keep going parallel to the libramiento. It will be on your right. happyjillin
Quality care phone # for appointment with Dr. Briseno: 766-1870 or from cell use the 376 first. You can't just drop in except to make an appointment so phone. He is my and my wife's Cardiologist. and his office is opposite Tio Sam.
CHILLIN
You have selected one of the busiest specialists Lakeside. When he is there the clinic is packed. Sometimes, even after hiring an extra employee, the phones ring on. He does not answer emails, he gets hundreds per day. Last time I saw him, on a routine matter, he substituted another highly qualified Cardiologist. You are best to walkin and make an appointment with Lety, the office manager. He is the only Cardiologist locally who has setup a cardio lab (not a stent lab). He is a second generation Cardiologist and highly respected. Just giving you a bit of a heads up - no surprises.
ajijicbound
Letty sometimes has to take patients to their other site, around the corner, and the phone is not covered.
desafinada
They also close the office for lunch, I think between 2 and 3 in the afternoon.
WideSky
There are two receptionists - Lety in the main office and another woman where the lab and Leend Dental are. If they are both busy then it will just ring AND they are closed from 2-3; Lety always tell me to call in the afternoon when it's not as busy. What is a Cardio Lab and what is it they do there???
CHILLIN
A cardio lab is like a cardio treadmill test on steroids. It is used for diagnosis and supervised treatment (stronger heart muscles).
sm1mex
Dr. Briseño will NOT substitute another cardiologist. He has a Dra. Cardiologist that works and assiists him but never substitutes his service.
Mrs. Rupert
He is a wonderful person as well as the best cardiologist this side of anywhere. And, sm1mex is correct-he does not substitute his services. He has an assistant with him, but she is not substituted for him. RUN to get an appointment with him, or call 766-1870. Lety is also a wonderful receptionist- really a Girl Friday. she takes care of business!

RVGRINGO
I am still alive, thanks to the interventions of Dr. Hector Briseño, assisted by his father, who is also a cardiologist. Prior to Dr. Briseño, I was treated by Dr. Ramon Gaercia Garcia, who is probably now retired. Currently, my resting blood pressure hangs around 102/61 with a pulse rate of 70 bpm. I know that seems low, but it is keeping me alive until something else does me in. 1
k2tog
RVGRINGO, Dr. Ramon Garcia Garcia is not retired. He has his office in the San Antonio Hospital. He is my husband's cardiologist and we are very happy to have him still practicing here. He also has a cardio lab not a stent lab. He has all the equipment to do cardio stress tests and doplar imaging of your heart carotid arteries.
johanson
I too visit Dr. Garcia Garcia, in fact earlier this year, a morning visit resulted in his sending me to a Guad Hospital where his son (also a cardiologist) with more sophisticated test gear than what we have here lakeside, confirmed that I needed a stent, asked me if I wanted it immediately, and I said, yes, why not. And later that same afternoon I got my first stent. The results were great.
