mexbound
I did a search on "DAC" but nothing showed up. I am trying to determine what the KWH Limit is here in Ajijic before one goes into DAC. I know there is a difference between the beach and here. Also, is the limit a "daily" limit or "billing period" limit?
Mainecoons
One thing you have to watch out for is they don't read the meter for a couple months and then claim all your consumption for several months is in one billing period. I think the DAC trigger is over 500 kWh in a billing period. It is definitely lower than at the beach here.
johanson
Isn't the DAC rate based upon the previous 12 months? And if you exceed a certain amount (maybe 2500 KWH) during that previous 12 months you go into DAC until your previous 12 month total is less than that certain amount. I can't remember now that I have had photovoltaic solar panels since 2008

Go Solar
PS: tarifa 1 on that page is lakeside, and 1B is the PV coastal area from at least Cuyutlan/Colima/Manzanillo up to Tepic and likely beyond. 500 kWh / 2 months, vs 800 for the coast, as some allowance is given for AC use and needs. daisy2013
Based on last 12 months of usage. Over 3,000 kwh you are on dac
