cyberjack
Are there any clinics at Lakeside yet that do kidney dialysis? TIA
kosika
I can only tell you what I have been told from a friend that is taking someone to dialysis twice a week. There are 2 clinics in/near Ajijic that do dialysis. They are both full at all times and they are not taking on new patients. My friend has to take her patient to Guadalajara. Hope this helps. HarryB
the San Antonio hospital will be having dialysis, June? The Chapala municipality is also working on a clinic, no date as of yet.
CHILLIN
I am told that many people here, obviously wealthy, have home based dialysis equipment. Maybe a nurse comes in to do the needle work.

CHILLIN
$10,000 U.S. or so. Factor in trips to Guadalajara three times a week, and the treatment costs, for the rest of your life, not a bad option. Cheaper than a second vehicle. Getting the equipment into Mexico would be the problem.
