BillZula
My cart's registration is due for renewal. The plate is issued from Guererro state. Does anyone know the process for renewal? Thanks! Bill
RVGRINGO
You would have to do it in Guerrero, wherever you got the original. If you are not residing in Guerrero, your new state may not allow licenses for golf carts.
HarryB
and if you registration doesn't match you licence address, your registration will probably be deemed invalid, just like NOB.
BillZula
Thanks for the information, folks! I believe Jalisco doesn't issue plates for golf carts, but they are allowed here. There is no home address listed on the card I received with the initial registration
Joco
There is no such thing as a golf cart registration because golf carts are not legal on the streets. Some people were getting motorcycle registrations and putting those on their golf cart. A registration is a tax for using the streets. It has nothing to do with safety. The only streets you can get away with driving a cart on are back streets, not highways. Motorcycles can travel on any street.

Joco
Golf carts cannot be registered but in Chapala they can be driven on interior streets but kept off the highway. https://theguadalajarareporter.net/index.php/news/news/lake-chapala/53248-chapala-traffic-regulations-go-into-effect-next-week
