Has anyone else been receiving numerous calls, stating they are from DIF?

Over the past week, we have received several calls, the last one, was last night, they speak very rapid spanish, we have told them we don't understand, and ask who they would like to speak with, most of our end of the conversation is ignored, tried being polite, but that doesn't work.

There was a report in El Informador recently warning residents in Guadalajara about robbers posing as health care workers trying to give vaccines door to door.  They clarified that they do not do this except in very rural areas.  Believe me, DIF will not be calling anyone unless you need a home inspection.  If you can, block the number. DIF is child protective services.   This isn’t anything new.   Newbies need to be warned not to open the door for people they are not expecting and not be alarmed by the inconvenience of scam callers.   Years ago, people would get calls from English speaking people and fool them into sending them money from the convience stores.
