MissHalifax
Is there any Mobile or RV Retirement Communities in the Lakeside area? And if so, can anyone give me some information about them.
Mainecoons
Nope. They just don't do that sort of thing in Mexico. Some folks live out at Roca Azul, a very lovely RV park south of Jocotepec. But it is not a retirement community by any stretch of the imagination.

MtnMama
The RV park at Roca Azul is partly snow birds or short term, with many retirees, but not all. There are a fair number of people who live there year round. They are a great group of people and the setting is amazing.
gringal
To expand a bit on what Mainecoons said, the idea of "mobile home retirement communities" which are so common in the U.S. just hasn't caught on in Mexico. There are many gated communities in this area which might fit your needs and might be worth checking out. They are in different price ranges. thesarge7
We have been living at Roca Azul for 6 years. It is not a retirement community" since all ages are welcome, and it is a membership fee club, so it can get quite busy on weekends and holidays, but the daily guests keep to a separate section of the park, and the residents stay on another. You may have to bring or buy your own RV or you can have a tiny house or container home custom built for you. Call the park and speak to the manager Teo or check out the web site. https://www.clubrocaazul.com/
