I had one decent G.P. here for 10 years but then he flat out lied to me on something, and that is a no-no for me. I have been doing great w/mmy BP meds for over 10-years when 2 days ago, they basically stopped working. If I was going to make an educated guess, I would think I may have got a batch of fake meds in what I got here. U.S. stuff works well. Even though my wife speaks Spanish (first language), I would prefer a doctor that is conversational in English. While I'm not destitute, I would prefer a G.P. who doesn't overcharge because I'm a gringo. Sorry, but it does happen in a lot of things Lakeside. If you're interested in going that route there's a pretty good one at Quality Care. We, however, have opted to go to Guadalajara to Dr. Luis Virgen. RVGRINGO Posted July 25, 2018 Report Share Posted July 25, 2018 Cardiologist at Quality Care, Dr. Briseño, was able to stabilize my blood pressure and no other provider has made any changes to his prescriptions in the several years since. I suggest that you see him, instead of a GP. You will be happy you did. It could save your life. A rapid change in blood pressure is a real red flag. Act now! Only Dr. Briseño was patient enough to work with us and got us on a regimen that works perfect. He comes to Quality Care Tues. & Thurs. usually. 766-1870. CHILLIN Posted July 25, 2018 Report Share Posted July 25, 2018 Dr. Hector Briseno is a very busy man, he has hired a woman cardiologist to help him out. She is very professional and thorough, and runs everything through Dr. Briseno. As a General Doctor, I would, and have, chosen Dra Gaby at that clinic. She is an internal medicine specialist and also emergency care. She is very informed on cardiac matters.
