sanditoes
When driving to the McAllen TX area, where is the immigration office enroute? We understand that you should stop and get your passport stamped prior to exit and upon re-entry. TIA
RickS
I'm not sure where a 'birder crossing' might be but.... And also there are two ways to approach the McAllen area; one coming from Monterrey Mx and the other coming up through Ciudad Victoria. If I were driving north towards McAllen from Victoria I would cross at the Puente Internacional Reynosa-Pharr crossing. The Aduana building is right at the crossing. And depending on what kind of immigration document you have, you may or may not find the Agent 'willing' to stamp your exit document as some Agents at many crossings say it is not necessary.... contrary to what the law appears to say about that.
