Flying into Terminal 2 in Mexico and transferring to terminal 1

I am flying into terminal 2 in Mexico and have to transfer to West Jet in terminal 1.

2 questions:

1.  Do you get the INM paper stamped out in terminal 2 or terminal 1.

2.  Where do you catch the shuttle from terminal 2 to terminal 1.

You get you INM paper stamped at the International terminal when you leave or arrive.

Nothing at the domestic. 

There is a train that connects the two terminals.  Follow the signs.

Assuming you are flying from Gauadalarjara to Mexico City, we found it easier to get our  INM paper stamped at the Guadalajara airport before we caught our flight to Mexico City

That is for sure, but the law indicates you have to get stamped out at the last point of exit in Mexico, which would be Mexico City.

We got stamped out in Guadalajara when we flew through Monterrey, and they made us go to the INM 3 flights down, way at the end of the building.  Luckily a gate agent escorted us quickly there and back and we barely was able to make our flight on to the U.S.  They would not let us on the plane with the Guadalajara stamp out location.  

I think we will have plenty of time to get stamped out in Mexico City,  we know where the INM locations are in term. 1 and 2.

You are required to get every stamped at the airport where you leave Mexico.

If you have a flight from Guadalajara that arrives in Mexico City at 10:15pm will the INM office be open?  

The direct flight to Toronto leaves at 1am.
