REC
Look at the lower part of the Reply box - you can add certain types of files from there.
Mainecoons
You can just do a copy and paste or do as REC suggested. The PM picture insert works the same way as a regular message.

That option is not available in my PM box function but it is here.
ned small
See I can do it here but the choose files option does not appear in my PM box and that's the only way that I know how to attach a pic. I know nothing about cutting and pasting, etc.

ned small
Is anyone else having the same problem or am I the only one and if so should I contact the Admin?
ned small
Has anyone contacted Admin about an issue like this or anything similar really, or would I just be wasting my time? I PM'd them once about something else a received no response. Are they ,in fact, the techie?
ComputerGuy
Okay, I give. You can only insert a picture you have if you previously attached it to a post, like you did with the car photo. That will now be available from the PM box under Insert Other Media > Insert Existing Attachment. (You can also insert a link to a photo already on the Web.) Ferret
I've been "playing" with this issue this morning and have worked out this "do around". 1) Make a forum post with the inserted picture. 2) Go to pm feature and write your pm and insert the picture which is now available to you under "insert existing attachment". SEND your pm. 3) Go back to forum and choose "edit" for your post. 4) Click on moderation at the top of post and choose "delete" which will delete the entire post but the inserted picture will continue to be available for future pm's because you've already sent it out as a pm. It's a pain in the butt but it does work.
