Service Rep. for Bosch On Demand Water Tank

Arroyos

Recommended Posts

After having this tank for 2 years with no problems, the water is now not as hot as it used to be.  Does anyone know of a Bosch service rep. in the Lakeside area, and if so, could you please forward me name and phone number and where he is located.  Thanks very much.

It is probably developing an interior coating of “saro“, mineralization.  Most such heaters can be disconnected and flushed with muriatic acid. Some even have special taps for the purpose and can be given an internal acid bath with the water supply turned off. Check your owner‘s manual. It is something you may need to do every year, in order to keep the efficiency of your heater up to snuff.

You could start by having a local plumber check it, the heating coils / fins may just need a good cleaning, they can get carboned up.    If so, that is relatively easy & accessible by just removing the exterior cover.

Or, contact Bosch and they have independent approved service providers out of Guad who can do a full internal / external cleaning and check of it:

They used to try and shake us down for "gas money" to come from Guad to perform warranty service. A couple of shots of tequila AFTER the repairs were taken care of solved the problem.
