Sea
There was a great thread some weeks ago with alternate directions to the Chapala smog inspection place. It must have been abducted by aliens. I can't find it. Does anyone know if the road around the shop is still closed? If so, the alternate route? Willie
Yes...more or less...sometimes you can get in there, a bit later same day, it's blocked....ugh.
AngusMactavish
I went Thursday and got within 25 feet of their place where a pile of dirt prevented my entry. The shop said to come back tomorrow and I left, but got stuck and had to be pulled out by the backhoe. Went yesterday and a different guy said "not today" even though I could get there. Why am I not surprised?
Sea
Pulled out by backhoe??? OMG. Not quite what I was looking forward to. I wonder if they'll accept inspections done after October?
AngusMactavish
Went there today and got it done. The road is rough and rutty, but navigable.
