bdmowers Posted February 6, 2017 Report Share Posted February 6, 2017 Basic Papermaking Workshop Tuesday, March 7 through Friday, March 10 11am – 2pm 600p This four-afternoon workshop will cover how to make paper from discarded paper scraps, local plants like banana leaves and corn husks; flowers and leaves. You’ll be crafting your own paper. We’ll make paper for boxes, bookmarks, notecards; paper for painting. We’ll also be creating colorful works with mineral pigments. Papermaking frames will be offered for sale at the end of the class. Instructor: Brad Mowers. Brad is a fiber craftsman with 30 years experience and has been making his own paper and teaching the craft to children and adults for several years.
