Art would be glad to talk to you, using either method.

I've always run my dogs through his classes, but I can't answer for him. In addition to the basics and his philosophy on training and handling, he'll help you with any questions on any problems. But do shoot him an email at least.

Edit: I reread that. No reason to be vague. :) The basics are how to get the dog to pay attention to you, ready for commands. Heel, sit, down, long down, place. Working on loose lead. I'm probably forgetting something major. Oh, see. Come. Yes, the all important "come". This is why I don't train dogs for a living.

So the basics of how to have a great doggie companion. Plus, problems that a lot of us have.. jumping on strangers, etc. are handled in class if common or individually if your dog dreamed up something weird just for you. Then once you take the class, you can come back up to any of Art's future classes for brush up or to work through problems. Art is a great resource for our canine community as a dog behaviorist.
