suegarn Posted August 13, 2015 Report Share Posted August 13, 2015 Chapala Sunrise Rotary Club To Celebrate International Women's’ Day 2016 With Week-Long Event SeriesThe Chapala Sunrise Rotary Club will be offering a series of public events in March 2016 to honor outstanding women who live at Lakeside and showcase their accomplishments. The week-long program begins on International Women’s Day,Tuesday March 8, with a Women’s Golf Tournament at the Chapala Country Club, followed by a cocktail reception, silent auction and a Tournament Awards dinner.Free breast-cancer screenings will be offered all day Wednesday as well as a Ladies’ Luncheon and Fashion Show at 2 PM.Friday brings the Lakeside Outstanding Women of the Year Awards Ceremony, and Saturday will feature a parade in Chapala and an escaramuza (women’s horseback-riding) exhibition and competition later that day.
