Remember Laddy the Lab? He's baaaack - and he wants to lick your toes

Recommended Posts

Many of you will remember the gentle giant, Laddy the Lab (see my avatar), who showed up freshly bathed and dumped at my doorstep last December. Well, his new person couldn't keep him, and now he is back.

Ohhhh! He is THE SWEETEST dog with the SADDEST eyes. That's because he IS sad as his humans keep leaving him. And I'm one of them. I can't keep him for several reasons that I won't bore you with.

After a few days of becoming his human, when he sees how nice you are to him, he will give you a toe-licking that no mere human could do. It feels good AND really cleans up those dirty toes up nicely! It's better than a spa pedicure, only cheaper -- and longer and more frequent! I just stick my barefoot in front of his mouth now and say, "Here Laddy, Lick my toes." And he does it. Happily! Does your wife/husband/partner/paid escort do that for you? I highly doubt it.

He's very well-trained - incredibly intelligent, and his sad eyes and long sighs will melt your heart until you can't help yourself anymore and you must just throw yourself into his passionate embrace!

He's very well-behaved in the house -- doesn't tear about or knock things over. He's mellow. I guess he's about 4 years old, so he knows what it's about. He's been around the block a few times, but it hasn't jaded him. He's a solid citizen. Friendly and reliable.

The only thing is that he seems to crave hotcats (as opposed to hotdogs). I don't know if he likes them in a bun with mustard and relish, or if he just likes them sushi-style. But I don't want to find out with my own 3 cats. When he sees them, I can just see the thought-ballon over his head with the image of a basted kitty with little chef hats on their feet. I'm sure he could be trained to stop doing that.

He loves to play -- with a ball or basically, anything you throw. And now that he's been with me for a week, I started walking him off-leash so he can get good exercise -- but he turns around to make sure I'm following, and he comes running back to me when I call him. He gets along well with all the other dogs in the street.

PLEASE BRING LADDY HOME -- to a real true forever home so he can love you the way YOU DESERVE TO BE LOVED!

Pretty peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

Thanks, Poe Bango

Hi,

Assuming that Laddy the Lab is neutered and has his shots up to date, I would love to have him. My black lab was killed last spring, and the Chihuahua misses the companionship and play, usually with a tennis ball. The only concern I have other than what I stated in the first sentence is that I am presently living in Manzanillo and will have to make a trip to wherever you are. I used to live Lakeside for a decade, but this beach community is delightful, if hot. Please consider my request seriously. It will be permanent. I'm sure Dulcinea and I will fall in love with him almost immediately. Where will I have to go to pick him up?
