kbiohio
Hi All, I would like to purchase quinoa for the first time. I have only seen it at SuperLake in little packs around $60 pesos (is that the going rate?). I haven't seen it at WalMart. Someone mentions the Grainery on here...is that the little spot next to Gossip Kitchen? I thought I could try a couple of recipes to see how I like it. Thanks for any advice. ajijicbound
Yes the store next to Gossips has it and I think you don't have to pre-soak it.

KarenE
I bought quinoa this week at a new store in Chapala, Lake Abastos, on Av. Pepe Guizar #126. They carry spices, grains in bulk, nuts, seeds, some fresh vegetables and a variety of other things for healthy eating. They are new and still testing their market. They will try to get whatever you need. 332 116 4551, 376 765 6512.
