Renee D.
I need to take my dog to the vet for a chat about heartworm and prepping to cross the US border for our upcoming visa run. Cna anyone recommend a good vet? Someone who's genuinely good with dogs, because mine is pretty fearful. We're in Riberas. I know there's one up on the carretera. Anyone been there?Cheers, Renee
red river valley
I've gone to the Ladron's for the past 14 years. They are very good with all animals, will take care of your needs & be gently with your dog.
Pogo
The Doctors Ladron, Antonio and Hector, are some of the finest people, as well as some of the finest veteranarians, you will find down here. They came from Guadalajara to Ajijic three times to attend my very sick and dying dog. Once was in the midst of a daughter's birthday party. Extraordinary people, believe me on this. They charge slightly more. They are worth it. They are in the clinic next to the animal shelter on the Carretera in Riberas. 765-5940
Marieluise
We have used the Ladron Animal Clinic for over seven years. They are the best. I don't mind driving an hour and a half from where we live to get the best possible care for our dogs and cats.

Ginger
Ditto on the Ladrons. I'm sure there are other good vets around but that's who I use.
