MexYCan
We are currently smoking our Peppered Beef Jerky right now and it should be ready for the Monday Market. We might also have the Teriyaki available too. Thanks, Big Daddy

desafinada
Saw packages of it near the El Torito checkout. Mexican brand, carne seco. Looked like jerky to me.
MexYCan
Not sure how long it will last. This is our second time making it and the first time we sold out in 10 minutes. We have made some more so it should last a bit longer. LOL We will also be selling it at the Wednesday Tianguis in Ajijic with LiL MaMa. Our you can send me a PM for pick up/Delivery of our products. The carne Thanks, Big Daddy.
MexYCan
The carne seco does not taste like our Jerky at all. Ours tastes pretty good. Thanks. Big Daddy
Canamex
The Mexican "carne seca" you buy dry here is called "cecina" in case you want to buy it. You can also buy it wet, i.e. marinated and ready to dry - both found at the Abastos market and other meat stores. Cecina keeps for a long time, we put it in the fridge anyway and it can be eaten as is, bbq'd or most commonly here, fried til crunchy. Best as chalupas IMO. I'm sure Big Daddy's is very tasty and worth buying, plus it's local, didn't know he sells it and will also try it.
