Quite a contrast from how transgender people are reacted to and treated NOB. It was especially nice to see the wise older gentleman stating "That's the way they were born." Very accepting for a small local town.
More Liana
This is a really fascinating glimpse into the culture of the muxes of Oaxaca. One minor detail, however: muxes are not transgender, they are cross-dressers. "Transgender" means that they have actually surgically changed their gender. The muxes are men by gender, women by preference of dress.
