Marley's Ghost
Depends on why you want buttermilk. Superlake almost always has powered buttermilk, which is entirely satisfactory for baking.
sm1mex
You can make your own. 1 cup milk 1 tablespoon white vinegar or lemon (not lime) juice. We prefer the white vinegar. The traveler
Ellie
Depends on why you want buttermilk. Superlake almost always has powered buttermilk, which is entirely satisfactory for baking. Super Lake frequently also has liquid buttermilk quite often.

slumdog
Actually, if you do manage to find some "powered buttermilk", I'd be quite interested.

Superlake has carried it for years - it's on an end cap before the freezer cases. I've only used it in baking where it's combined with other dry ingredients and the required liquid. I've only used it in baking where it's combined with other dry ingredients and the required liquid. Unfortunately, they haven't had it for the last several weeks. We were hoping to get a back up before the snowbirds cleared the shelves.
