Bus Information

Recommended Posts

I was told by a reliable source who has done this, that you can stand out at the Crusetta, I think it was in front of the Oxxo there and get dropped off at Costco.

For more specific detail, you could ask one of the Mexicans standing in the vicinity, and of course you can ask the driver as/before you get on if he'll stop at Costco.

I did not have the impression that you could do this from either of the two bus stations, rather that it was a bus coming down from the hills on the south shore and heading on into Guad.

And where exactly is the Crusetta? And, considering you find the Crusetta, are you to stand there all day?   Only one OXXO lakeside?  Heehaw!

Crucero is at Hwy 15 (Morelia/Guadalajara) y Vicente Guerrero.  Joco bus station, blue buses, 1/2 blk in front of Templo Senor Del Monte.  Seniors 1/2 price.  I doubt if the bus will stop at Costco either way since it is on the lateral.  Does not hurt to ask though.

Crucero is a lot different than Crusetta.

My hearing is not too good but what I understand is that the locals call that intersection crucero.  Either way, it is where Vicente Guerrero ends at the junction with Morelia-Guadalajara Hwy 15 West of Joco.  The buses that stop there are the Mazamitla and Sur Lines.  The blue Joco buses leave the camionera in el centro near Senor del Monte.  They probably stop at the crucero also if you flag one down.

Kiko, thanks for clearing up my misunderstanding / mispronounciation of the word!  (not my first similar mistake with Spanish!)

Heehaw meaning:

2.  A noisy laugh; a guffaw.
