  1. The Ajijic Fishing Club went to Christiana Park on April 30th to provide some fishing fun for kids attending "Kids Day" at the park. Hundreds of kids attended and a lot of them came to us and spent some time catching plastic fish in a few inches of water. It doesn't sound very exciting, but even after we ran out of prizes, the kids kept coming, smiling, laughing. We probably won't be remembered by the kids, but the parents thanked us . Possibly they will be Fishing Club members some day.
  2. Hey all. We are currently in Gdl. We have a 17yr old daughter. We are exploring our options for long term. Gdl is great but not quite we were planning. Are there families with younger kids or Teens in your area? As summer approaches we are hoping she can volunteer also. In the US she spent some of the weeks volunteering in VBS helping teachers. Hoping she can find some similar opportunities. Forums and facebook groups make it seem like it is mostly just retired folk in the area. I appreciate any info.
