Don't know how Chapala managed to obtain 8,000 extra doses, to be applied to all comers, when it should have been over yesterday. At first, decided "nah, I have a list for today, I can wait". Then around 9 am decided to dress, run over there, and if another zoo, could consider it a nice outing and head straight back home. Out of garage in San Antonio no earlier than 9:15. After finding parking place (fair distance) , bum in seat (middle section of the last outside tent) at 9:38. People circulating to check right docs, and if not sending them to another line where all could be rectified. I had mine. Water, lonches and fruit being handed out(breakfast time for Mexicans). Soon a whole group were taken inside the park. People moved forward. One group later and we moved up to front, where seats were now 5 wide instead of 7 or 8. Was soon obvious.... 100 being taken inside at a time. My row was 19 😁 Two tents set up. One full of people, the other for us (apparently recently vacated). A horde of young adults came thru' to fill out forms needed AND Part One of the form one will need to get SECOND dose. Shortly after, a brigade of medical people came thru, shots in arms rapidly down all rows (mine at 11:57 am). That only left the 30 min. wait for reactions. Then doctor asked if all OK? Gave a few instructions, and out we filed. Back at my car at 12:38 pm . AMAZING!!! Not only that, we were informed phone call to come in 25-30 days for next does to be given at same location as first one. YAY and a huge thumbs up for organizers in Chapala!! (Admittedly when I left, the wait line was almost down to the Cruz Roja so no idea how long that will take.....
