OK i am not a computer wiz but if you are using your computer to chat with Shaw they know that your computer is not in Canada, unless you are using a hide my ### program ,it is not much of a leap to assume that is how they know your Shaw box is not in Canada. I use a my Vonage phone and always call them if I have a problem Shaw has my Vonage phone registered as my home phone so I have no problem getting service here in Mexico.

I have solar heat for the pool and only use it for 3 to 4 months of the year as I find it gets the pool to warm for my enjoyment you can easily raise the temperature 5 degrees or more with solar heat for 8 months of the year.. The solar blankets are great if you like keeping the pool like bath water but they are cumbersome and unattractive. The problem with the solar rings is having the room to store them when not in use. There are some very attractive varieties available in the US unfortunately from my research they seam to only offer the low end ones here in Mexico.

Chillin I do not think you are understanding the thread. It is not that people are using the Canadian plan while here in Mexico but that they are living here in Mexico full time and running back to Canada to use the plan. I know one couple that go back every 6 months and on one of their trips gets an annual checkup as well as flue shots etc.
