Understand one thing.... their higher-rate offerings are (1) NOT covered by IPAB (similar to Canadian or American bank deposit insurance)  (2) commissions and Mexican taxes will be involved, and (3) there are some otehr interesting things that will apply including minimum balances etc. ( No idea if what you're looking at falls into this category.)

Look at one of your monthly statements  are read ALL of the fine print on ALL pges.... or get someone to read for you if Spanish is a problem.  That way no surprises or disappointments.  No personal experience with them.... but I translated such for a lady who learned things were NOT as she expected.

We asked our advisor at Multiva if MX has something equivalent to FDIC and he said yes, but I don’t remember the name now.

  2. I have the platinum package, so we get like 93 channels, all the US stations.

The person that just quit my account, I might be able to get her receiver for a very fair price, then it is already programmed, then all you need is an antenna. I have a guy but not sure what he charges for installation, I could ask him.

You can email me directly for more info.

I think mostly it just comes down to common sense. To me it matters little if someone has covid in the next town, your community, your street or next door. Your model at this time is a racoon. You wash your hands insesently, you wear a mask, you keep your safe distance, you limit your exposure to others. And don't touch your face except with freshly washed hands. That is the same if the person lives next door or is shopping on the same aisle at Walmart. If this is a neighbor please consider calling and asking if they need anything. Many are alone and anyone who has Covid must be scared. You could safely leave a food basket outside their door or make some soup. Don't let fear stop you from doing the things you would do for a neighbor in need. We need each other more than ever

Ok  Since you know, but nobody else.....Put everyone in danger.

As of yesterday there were 38 deaths reported in Chapala and 1 of every 13 were residents of 1 fracc. And you won't tell us so we can be safe from a massive outbreak?

Would you really want everyone to know you were dying? And how horrible it is?

I don't know Catherine Claire. Can you elaborate? Have these "dying at home" been tested?  If so why aren't they in the active case numbers? If they were not tested why not?

She is a great advocate in our area and married to a Dr. She is on Facebook and most people know her or about her, she doesn't mess around and spread rumors. You all know MX is not doing accurate posting of cases here.

  6. According to Catherine Claire, there are 30 foreigners dying at home because they cannot get a hospital bed and she has called all the hospitals trying to help them, so keep this in mind if you get sick. There is no help out there for us or anyone for that matter right now, no matter how much money you have.
