Just wondered if I can get some feedback from anyone who has recently applied for the temporary resident visa. We will do our application in Toronto, but the question is about issue of card in Mexico. Once we return to Mexico, within our 30 days of receipt of visa, we know we have to meet at office in Chapala with our lawyer. BUT, typically how long after that appointment does it take to get your actually card? Is it same day? 3 weeks? Thanks for your help.

Yes I have had a couple of meals there. Diane who owns Simply Joyful has opened The Bowl - a Mongolian Grill Restaurant - downstairs and at the back of Simply Joyful. You have a list of ingredients that you pick from. 1 protein, 1 starch, 5 vegetables (but you can add more for $20 each). You pick from 5 sauces (Fire Dragon sauce is hot!) and Jesus takes your orders to the grill. Come back with a lovey lunch or dinner. Go Hungry, big portions.

Hola Have been coming down here for 23 years. Only ever seen one scorpion. Thinking of now changing garden to drought resistant with cactus, etc and using lava rocks for fill in over earth to keep dust down. In your experiences does that type of garden invite scorpions and such? Thanks for your input.
