  1. Part of Ron's email to me and APS engineer ..... At this time, since APS has not resolved it and Sr. Smith is very frustrated, Gustavo, STI will withdraw, and we ask you to take over fully in this case.
  2. STI pulled out of the customer service and we are left hanging
  3. Thank you for the reply. Profeco is my next step. I am even thinking of getting my lawyer to talk to STI and Ron Magen.
  4. I would not recommend STI anymore. I have a problem with the unit that reports the production and it has been months now that nothing gets fixed. The one inverter was replaced with no success. I have send numerous emails and if there is a reply it is usually another excuse about a company called AP Systems. We bought from STI, so I guess they just pass the bug elsewhere. I don't trust them anymore.
  5. ok, thanks All Day. 58 was a while back. I checked 2 minutes ago, now getting 25
  6. Yes, I plugged in an ethernet cable and get 58 max ... still not 70. Is it ILOX modem problem then ? What model TPLink do you have ? I found this on Amazon (USA) for $64 TP-Link AC1750 Smart WiFi Router - Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Internet Router for Home, Works with Alexa, VPN Server, Parental Control&QoS (Archer A7)
  7. Thanks for all the advice. Yes, we are trying to use wifi from their modem. Looks like a router is the way to go. I am just not familiar with installation of it. Where do I buy a ASUS router and how is it installed, please ? Thanks again for the advice. If this will greatly increase the wifi we can finally start thinking of getting Wifi TV
  8. The internet speed is junk. The TV is not even on and I got 13 MB minutes ago instead of the 70 MB according to the contract I signed. I sent another email to noc@mail.ilox.mx ... still no reply. This is just another ripoff
  9. We had our service installed a week ago after a long struggle to get it done. They said that I have to pay for the cable because the box is down the street. They did not run the cable along the posts and then right across to the house. Instead they ran it down the middle of the street through trees with thick and thin branches which will damage the cable during these heavy winds in summer during thunderstorms. It also lay on top of power lines. I talked to installer but he ignored it. If I have to pay for all that cable they should install it the correct way according to my wishes since I pay the bill. Also, our contract we signed is for 70MB, we are lucky to get 20 MB. Even if I sit right next to the modem. Also, the TV streaming is really bad. I have sent numerous polite emails ... needless to say there is no response. Think I will give it a month and then not pay for anything, They can cancel the service and collect their modem. Back to Telecable (Izzi) ... cheaper reliable 10MB internet, better TV reception plus a phone .... all together cheaper and better service than ILOX.
