  1. Again: I would be careful at this point. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jetsgo "According to news outlets, the airline was processing orders and taking payments for flights the night before they claimed bankruptcy and ceased operations."
  2. Respectfully Amiga; I'm in Rick's camp. Regardless the processor, a SSD (solid state drive), boots up amazingly fast, compared to the older style HDD drives, however there is always a tradeoff in life: https://www.pcmag.com/news/ssd-vs-hdd-whats-the-difference Boot-up with a SSD still amazes me, but it isn't a result of the cpu speed.
  3. Be careful. They fly the wonderful 737 Max, also, they could, suddenly shut down, as other budget airlines have done. https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/flair-airlines-owes-67m-in-unpaid-federal-taxes-prompting-seizure-order

  9. Wednesday Tiangees has a table full of new replacement remotes. I'd bring the old one for the guy to match it. I've had good luck in the past with universal remotes (they can be programed for any brand).
  10. I've never had any problems when using Microsoft's built in protection. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/comprehensive-security?r=1
  11. Had two calls from area code 284 today. A known one ring scam number. "The 284 area code has been linked to a form of telephone fraud known as the "one ring scam". " https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Area_code_284
  12. "Not the government, just a helpful private company." 🫣
  13. "Therefore we recommend that your passport, regardless of country of origin, should be valid for a minimum period of six months, however long you intend to stay to avoid any potential problems at the port of entry. Immigration authorities at the port of entry may allow or deny entry of any person into Mexico. If you have a passport that is valid for less than six months and you intend to stay in Mexico for a short period of time —perhaps a vacation— the Immigration Officer might allow you entry, especially if you can show a return air ticket." https://www.mexperience.com/mexico-essentials/mexico-entry-requirements/#ReqRes
  14. It is a gamble, but; As a Residente Permenente,... the Mexican gov't is VERY accommodating.
  15. Reminds me of the Yoggi Berra quote: "nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded".
  16. You will be using the Rodgers network. Their agreement will cut your data off at around 2gig in a calender month (may have changed, but nothing close to the 5g I'd paid for).
