We recently ate there and found the food OK but not worth the price paid... We sat on the patio which was a fly catcher so that may have tainted our thoughts... We normally give a place two tries before adding them to our list eating establishments we recommed to people we don't particularly like...

We also found the flies unbearable. I wouldn't hesitate to say they are worse there than almost any other restaurant save for Bobby's El Escondido. Not pleasant.

  2. If someone is foolish enough to travel to a foreign country without knowing exactly what they need by way of a visa, what the country requires for pets traveling with them, and what permits are needed for the vehicle they're traveling in, they have no one to blame for what might and most likely will happen to them as a result.

Heaven knows there is a b#ttload of information out there, so they simply didn't take the time to read before setting off.

How often does it need to be done to keep out the bugs? Once every one or two years? Or less? I do not have a problem with this but think perhaps it should be done on a regular basis. Thanks.

We have had  FuMiGa come every 4 months  for the last 4 years.

We live in Chapala Haciendas where alecranes are common, as are arañas viuda negra- black widows. Our home was infested with roaches when we bought it due to filth and no regular fumigation.

Today, we rarely see alecranes or roaches (never inside the house!) and the black widows are fewer.

Before anyone comments, we have 4- old chihuahuas and a cat who lives in our enclosed patio or in the garden. NONE and NEVER have any ever experienced any problems due to spraying.

It was very Quiet when we were there at six, with four others and lots of conversation, as my Partner and I were celebrating our 22 year of being together...

Felicidades to you and your partner. 💞

  5. I am frequently up by 4 am and occasionally around 4:30- 5:00 I  do hear a truck passing CH using their brakes. This isn't every day, this isn't a constant, never ending barrage of noise, this is something that quickly becomes virtually unnoticeable unless you have made a decision to sit on every cactus in the desert of life.

So what they make noise? These are working people and the 30 seconds to maybe.... maybe a minute I hear this noise is far less bothersome than another national out of work, looking for a way to feed their family.

This is just another case of "gringos" (I ain't one!) making a BFD outta nothing.

Bread flour at Walmart, they have four different flavors, wheat , rye etc.

There is a difference between the flours sold at Walmart for use in making breads and the bread flour we are accustomed to NOB. I wouldn't waste my time making bread from the flours sold at Walmart, but they are perfectly fine for cakes, cookies, and other things...just not bread.

"The main difference between bread flour and all-purpose flour is a matter of protein. Bread flour, which comes in white and whole wheat varieties, has a higher protein content than all-purpose, usually 11-13%. It's called “bread flour” because most bread requires higher amounts of protein to produce lots of gluten."
